Day 4 (1.7.24): First Sunday!

Happy Sunday! We got to worship at a more traditional Belizean church, Living Waters, today.  Different church members gave testimonies about their founder Miss Martha to honor her life and service. Worship was very free in that people spoke out truths about God.  Timing was also more free and the pastor took the time that was needed as everyone acknowledged God’s presence and work.  This afternoon, we spent some time continuing to get to know one another and participate in some team building exercises at the Banana Bank Pool.  We also did a prayer walk at the schools we will be at.  We ended the day celebrating a team member birthday.  Happy Birthday to our Hannah Joy!  We’re excited to start school tomorrow, meet our teachers and students, and learn about the structure of the school day!
