Good evening to all of my avid blog readers out there, my name is Kyle Schug. So as I was reading some of the past blogs I noticed it was getting a little repetitive so I am here to spice up your feed a little bit. But here is a brief explanation of the day today before the story. Today started out just like normal with some delicious breakfast before we headed out to our assigned classrooms. A couple of us had our observations today and we all made it through with flying colors and have that stress behind us and made it to the weekend, where we have some very fun plans ahead! After school we were able to stop at the market again where some of us got some assorted juices as well as a new placed called Wings and Feathers where we all got a fun drink and did some shopping in a very nice air conditioned room.
Well, now that the daily recap is out of the way we can move on to the adventure of Kai the frog. So the legend of Kai started way back on the second day here in Belize in the mens community bathroom. One nice day when I was taking a shower in one of the shower stalls, I saw a little visitor crawl out of the drainage hole in the shower. This was very startling and I ran out of the shower because I did not have my contacts in so I could not see what was in the shower with me so I got scared and finished my shower another stall. After I finished in got my contacts in I went back to investigate and the mysterious critter was already gone. This left me curious and for a few days and I would look for him every time I went in the bathroom to see if I could find out what it was.
Eventually, after a few days of searching I finally found it, it was a frog! This was very relieving because my mind instantly went to the worst possibility and a frog was definitely less intimidating than the rest of the options. After this day, Kal and I have crested a study to watch and observe this frog and his movements. He loves to live down in the shower drains and the only times he comes out is at nights or if one of us happens to pick the shower that he is hiding in and he will pop out and take a shower with us. We have all become very close friends with this frog and will be one of the hardest things for me to say goodbye to when we leave.
I hope you all had a great day and we will see you back tomorrow night for whoever is next to write to you. From Kyle and Kai, thank you and goodnight.
Thanking God that you all had a good day and glad you’re enjoying the frog 😄. Praying for a great day for everyone tomorrow 🙏🏻❤️
