Day 11 (1.14.24): Another Chill Day at the Compound!

Today, we visited Lisette’s home church, Lifenet, in Belmopan. The service was about 2 hours long, and filled with many contemporary and lively songs. This church is well developed and has a strong congregation with a passion to equip and empower believers to be world changers. They are intentional in fellowship and leading others to new life in Jesus. After the service, we got back and had an amazing lunch, but soon found out the bus was having more issues and wasn’t going to be able to take us to Ayalas Natural Pool as we had planned for the afternoon. Without the bus, we couldn’t travel to Caye Caulker Island the following day either. So as we waited, we prayed and prayed this wouldn’t be the case. During this time however, Pat (Christy’s husband), arrived safely and a few of us were able to show him around Roaring Creek. We also played a few rounds of "The Game", and Christy joined! Later on at dinner, we heard the great news that Caye Caulker and snorkeling is still on the agenda thanks to Ese and Lisette! We are overjoyed, and excited for the fun filled experience we have in store for tomorrow.
